I made it to Seattle with little more disturbance than a small child in the seat behind me that had a passion for kicking the back of my seat. Otherwise, everything went smoothly.

I managed to catch up with some of my extended family yesterday, as they just happened to be in town. The funny part is that they came from Maryland and New Mexico and were visiting the area. We walked around downtown and ate dinner before I saw them off on other adventures.

Today was my first taste of the Seattle office. They set me up with a comfortable office and made sure I had enough minions to run around to take care of things for me. They even went to the extent of renting a decent computer for me to do my work on. I was fairly impressed. They only mentioned making a transfer worth my while 5 times . . . and made sure a printout for a nice home on 10 acres in the cascades found its way on to my desk while I was getting lunch . . .
