Someone was evil enough to tag me with the 20 things people dont know about me. Gurrr . . .
1. I am very hard nosed against giving in to peer pressure. I only tend to do things I either want to or feel obligated to. In this case, I am curious enough to see what I come up with that it is worth the effort.
2. I have financially supported myself since I was 13.
3. I used to DJ for WPBX (Long Island). I played opera, big band, gothic and industrial.
4. I have had over 100 stitches in my left hand.
5. I own three cars but I drive less than 5 miles a week.
6. I commute to my office on a skateboard. Both of my decks have skulls on them and I make sure they are prominently displayed all day long so people can look in my office and shake their head at me. I wear a suit to the office at least once a week, so it is really quite humorous.
7. I dont believe in microwaves and dishwashers.
8. I am in the AC/DC Thunderstruck video.
9. My name can be found in at least four places inside the various Smithsonian museums.
10. I am both the best and worst dressed person in my office.
11. I was attacked by a pack of coyotes while I was living in Wyoming. I am fairly certain they were after my beer. Bear spray is very effective against coyotes.
12. I have a habit of reading books and then giving them away. I have bought Good Omens (Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchet) five times because of this.
13. I have lived with more than one SG member and, in all cases, my residence was a garage.
14. I hope to some day retire to a small farm in New Hampshire so I can grow basil in green houses.
15. I had to give up playing classical guitar after a losing the top front of my left middle finder in a tragic turnip cutting incident.
16. In second grade my school sent me for testing so I could be admitted to a special school for children with learning disabilities. The following year I enrolled in my first college course.
17. One of the hardest decisions I faced leading up to my move to California three years ago was canceling my audition with the Philadelphia Academy of Ballroom and Social Dance.
18. I have owned a particular fish (a yellow cusk eel) for over two years but have only seen it five times.
19. I have only been drunk three times in my life. One of them was memorable enough to forever be known as The Night of the Purple Hippo and involved copious amounts of rum, a few bottles of extraordinarily expensive Champaign, an Acura NSX and a container of molten sorbet.
20. I have a strong aversion to fast food and cook almost everything I eat from scratch.
Ok, so there are 20 . . .
And just because I know it will drive them crazy, I pass this on to surgicalsnack, voxless and my fellow attenedee of "the Night of the Purple Hippo" - Stiles
