Here's a blog I posted on another site a year ago. (Notes from today are in parenthesis.)

Current mood: embarrassed

If I were to place a personal ad, here's what it should really say:

SWF, 28 (I'm 30 in August) looking for a guy who can put up with my BS
I like the beach, punk rock, tattoos, piercings, skateboards, and just having fun.
I own my own home and live by myself.
I have ex-boyfriend drama. I see 2 of them on a daily basis. One is my best friend, the other I don't even speak to anymore. (I haven't seen the one I don't speak to in months. He's married now.)
I have all male friends except for like 2 girlfriends and I like it that way. Get used to it. Girls are mean. And most don't like me.
I have serious trust issues. I've been lied to a lot. Not necessarily cheated on...just lied to.
I have problems with stress and anxiety...but that's what the medicine is for. (I'm not taking any for the moment)
I have a hot temper. I'm quick to lash out if I think I'm being done wrong. I usually regret it 10 minutes later which is usually 10 minutes too late.
I can be a jealous girlfriend. But I won't compete for your attention.
I'm funny. I'll make you laugh. I'll talk to you like I'm one of the guys.
I love my dog...and if she doesn't like you or you don't like her, forget it.
I'm smart. I'll kick your ass at Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!
I have a degree in Spanish and Sociology. Which qualifies me for what? I sell skateboards. (I'm an office administrator now)
I'm kinda messy. I don't do dishes and I don't make the bed. I have clothes on my bedroom floor at all times.

That's all I can think of right now...but I'm sure there'll be amendments.

A nice young fellow emailed me and said, "98% of that "ad" is a massive red flag to stay far far away." In reponse to that I felt as if I should list some more good things about me.
