whoa. adventurous experience today. i was drivin' to this guy's house to play some guitar...the weather here was very shitty today....like 50 below with the wind and blowing snow everywhere...so on this particular stretch of road (Circular Rd. to those who would know), there was a huge snowdrift, and as i approached it, a total whiteout hit...so midway through the drift, i narrowly miss hitting this girl whose car was stuck in the drift! that threw me off a bit, as almost maiming or killing someone would...so when my car left the drift, it hit the icy road about to go sideways, and sideways it went....into the snowbank on the side of the road....then, another dude just barely missed my car, and i figured was gonna hit the other girl for sure, but luckily he stopped in time...so i run down to see if she's ok, etc, and me and the other guy try to push her out, to no avail...she said she had already called some guys with a 4x4 and a tow-rope to come, so i said she should call the police, too....meanwhile, another guy had gotten stuck right across the road from me. he came down to see if we were ok, and pointed out to me that my face was frostbitten, which it was...i wasn't dressed for the weather at all (bad day to be wearing my canvas Vans)...so this mess of cars littered throughout the road, along with the total whiteout conditions, could've been a catalyst for a bad accident. But, luckily the guys with the truck and towrope and the cops showed up soon after, and got the cars out, and i made it to the guys house. I was gettin' pretty antsey about getting hit or someone else getting hit, though. Luckily they closed that stretch of road...and my face wasn't frostbitten too bad...jesus that's all i need is 2 scars on my face...i mean it's all bad enough hahaha.
An interesting sidebar to the story; the girl i narrowly missed hitting is this chick that i have been totally infatuated with for a couple of years. And today was the first time i've ever spoken to her. I figured it wasn't the right time to ask her on a date. But i have a possible ice-breaker for when she's drunk. hahaha

it's like a scene from a movie, boy almost kills girl, then tries to resucue said girl, then... well you know where i'm going with this... they fall for each other and so on and so on hehe.
