So... parties with friends ... even when exes are there to make things awkward are fun. Having people who start fighting and breaking things end the party early sucks.

On the bright side, I almost thought I wasn't in kansas anymore with the sand-storm earlier today. That was some crazy stuff with some great lightning.

Drunken thought: Sand in beer tastes like crap.

Further thoughts: Sometimes, I find myself missing people and thinking maybe physical violence can be delt with. Then I come to my sences and decide not to drink&dial.

So... the decision that is left is do I call friends to finish my partying and drinking for the night. Or do I go to sleep and see if people want to go out tomorow?

Tough call... I think a shot of tequilla and some videogames are in order to decide.

ah but you see, i never said i was seeking surrealism. merely, am i giving in to it, letting it surround me. life in all fashions is intricate and chaotic. so much time is spent trying to make sense of it, and now we even think it rational as we spend almost every moment of our waking life doing so. and then back to square one, and we are left unsettled.

My philosophy that war, or in general just conflict is a natural state of things. You can't have inner peace if you seek outer peace because you are denying the natural state of things. So you are forever filled with inner turmoil striving to stop it.

However, if you accept the reality of conflict, and its byproducts(chaos, surrealism, and flux) as just the price of things, you can be at peace inside.

Myself, I find it hard... because I want to change things and make them better as my nature, and I think that is the nature of most people. At least most people want to be able to change things... be it for better or worse.

But if you just accept the frustrating things in life and embrace them, your stress is much lower. Just my 2cents, and i'm ranting in my own comments section... I *must* be bored.
