What the fuck is up with rude people acting like complete wankers even when you're trying your hardest to be nice to them?
I dunno about the rest of you, but when i'm being a COMPLETE asshole to someone, and they stay nice... I feel like a cad and apologize. I really try my best to be nice to people these days, but people are always somehow offended by me. Maybe it's just my candor. There are peripheral things that I don't care if people's delicate sensitivities are set off by... like swearing, or politics, but for the most part I do my best to get along. Mainly because it makes my life easier, not because I'm altruistic or any of that rott. Well, that, and not publicly humiliating people tends to be helpful in not arousing suspicion when you take vengeance on them. It is so much more satisfying to trounce someone when they least expect it, really blind side them. They'll learn eventually, right?
Damn, feels good to get that off my chest even if it's just writing it somewhere where likely no one will read it. I had been having a great day yesterday till about 2 o'clock then it just all went to seed and I declared today a holiday.
I got fed up with my free-standing surround speaker stands, so I'm working on figuring out the acoustics of my room so I can mount them in the ceiling. It kinda looks like a bad a bad sci-fi movie in here... string everywhere, I could call it "Man spider" or something. lol.
In the meantime, I'm off to go play ball with "the dog", he is looking pitiful and nosing his ball around the floor. Here's to a better day, and a better week, month and soon to be year.
