Why the hell is it I'm only an insomniac SOMETIMES? Not when its useful hehe. Couldn't get to sleep till about 7am and woke up at 11am. I used that time to find a few interesting/nerdy things! I found out a few cool people were born on the same day as me... Karl Gustav Jacobi! A German Mathematician who investigated eliptical equations, Emily Dickinson the writer, and Ada Lovelace who programmed the difference engine.


If any of you happen to be weird enough to drive down to Tucson for Fetish Heat tomorow, say hi! I'm bringing a whole 'posse', There will be 8+ of us there depending on who chickens out this time. Should be a BLAST so err come out or something!

Uhh... lets see what other randomness I can put in here while I wait for people to get here... OHHH I'm planning out a few tattoos. One is written in sanskrit from the Upanishads. I've got to find it written in the origional sanskrit so I can tell em what to write, though:

"asato ma sad gamaya
tamaso ma jyotir gamaya
mrtyor mamrtam gamaya

Om shanti shanti shanti

Jnani manasa saha
Buddhis ca na vicestate
Tam ahuh paramam gatim"

Translates to:
From delusion lead me to truth
From darkness lead me to light
From death lead me to immortality.

I'm thinking of just taking the first 3 lines and puting them around a circle... I was thinking something else that symbolized immortality like a Celtic Knot but I don't want to mix cultures TOO badly. I'll have to look at Hindu symbols since they use the Upanishads.
