I should probably go to Cali. before that also falls into the ocean frown

It looks like the Big Easy is gone. frown Guess that is what happens when you build a city BELOW sea level on the ocean whatever The one thing about the disaster that really pisses me off is the fact that most of the people that died are the ones that could not leave because they are to poor to own a car. That and the governments awesome plan of putting about 15,000 people in a building without working power or bathrooms.

Question of the Week

Do you think they will ever be able to repair New Orleans or will they just move it?

Katrina wasn't this powerful come 120 miles outside of new orleans. In fact the center of the storm was over new orleans when it become it's most powerful. It was only a class 5 for about 2 hours. But during that time it ripped new orleans apart. New Orleans is either not going to exisit anymore or it's going to have some major work done to it.

they weren't worried about it because it would cause choas. Every in New orleans know the risks of living 6 feet under sea level and that close to the the coast. It was a 1 in 129543 chance that new orelans would be devestated...guess modern math proved that right.

I'm more pissed off at the loss of documents, history, culture then i am about the loss of property and life.

I personally LOVE the idea that they are gonna set some of these poor folks who could'nt even afford a car down on cruise ships for awhile. Even without the amazing service one has when a paying customer on a cruise ship, these people are gonna think WTF? THIS is what I've been missing out on? J/K.
