Saturday was my second day at Planned Parenthood. It went really well, it was much easier than the first time since I already knew exactly what to expect.

For those of you who are in the know...

The contest is over. There are no winners. Heather and Lia lost it simultaneously with pretty boys after the party last night.

And I had sex for the first time since before the contest. ROCK!

EDIT: I stand corrected!!! Lia actually resisted temptation and WON the contest. I knew if anyone won, it would be her.

This has been a pretty eventful week.

I lost the contest.

I went and looked up Tesla, too--yes, I guess I'm a bit of a nerd. What did you think of him?

Sounds like a fascinating guy who was getting close to the intersection of some interesting principles, but who couldn't make himself heard. I guess it's hard to draw the line between brilliant and crazy.

I didn't know anything about him, but something I had to write for work brought him in as an aside. I've been wondering about him ever since.

He kind of makes you think about the nature of greatness--if you can be as much of a genius as he was, and still end up in obscurity, with almost none of your discoveries brought to fruition, are you still willing to pursue it? And how much greatness is going on right now, that we're missing because of our blind spots?
