A busy weekend is coming up! Luckily, I'm done with all of my Christmas shopping. Only made 3 stops, too - and one was the co-op, where I was buying food, so it wasn't out of my way. I made some good buys, too. I lucked out, because the Borders in my neighborhood is going out of business, and a couple of the things I bought were 40% off.
Anyhow, this weekend I am making baked Brie with homemade pie crust, and a topping of raisins, dried cranberries, and pieces of pecans. I am making 2 of them, one for each party I'm going to.
I have my work party on Saturday, which is going to be mostly middle aged gay men, so I'm sure it will be a hoot. It's gonna have a Secret Santa thing. I thought it was on Friday night, but it turns out both parties are on the same night. Oops! But the gay one starts at 6, and the other starts at 9:30, so I can hit both.
After that I'm going to a burlesque show for the bachelor party I'm throwing, and then an after-party at my place if enough people are still up for partying.
On Tuesday evening, I'm taking the train down to the DC area. Christmas with the family... then the day after, I'm gonna get a chance to see the girl I'm currently crushing on and sleeping with. Yay!

My Father was born and raised in Guadalajara and my Mother's parents are originally from Mexico City. She was born of course in the States from "illegal citizens". I'm not 100% sure of my ancestry but from what I've gathered it's nothing exotic. I think I have a native american appearance, my azteca background seems to show in my face haha.
