So it seems that, rather unexpectedly, I may be moving and getting a roommate.

My good friend Kate was apartment hunting in my neighborhood, and I went along with her to navigate. She was sort of driving around aimlessly looking for For Rent signs. Well, we found this awesome house that was converted into apartments. It's a 3 bedroom, and we'd both be paying less rent than we are in each of our one bedrooms. Anyhow, this place is beautiful... big huge windows with windowsills you can sit on, lots of light, hardwood floors, built in bookshelves. There are 7 rooms total. We're applying and I really hope we get it and can move in soon.

I'm not yet 100% sure I want to do this. I would have to find someone to sub-let my apartment to, and I'd have to move which I technically don't need to do. But sometimes I get a bit lonely living alone, and it might be nice to have company.

The only thing is, we'd have to make sure that our pets got along okay. I have 2 cats and she has a dog. We've introduced them once, and the poor kids, I think they were terrified. I think that was at least partly because I brought them to her place. Next time, we'll have to bring her dog to my place... I think the cats will be able to deal with that much better.
