I would like to enlist everyone's help in naming the kittens that Max has, which will later become mine. Here's a picture to give you an idea. They're both black; the girl has some white markings under her chin, and the boy is solid black. I have an idea or two but I'd like to hear everyone else's first.

I am going to be getting both of the kittens, so I need both a boy name and a girl name (or androgynous ones or whatever). I kind of like the idea of having matching names (not like starting with the same letter, but i.e. Simon and River)

I'm still in the process of getting to know them.
The girl is fiesty and playful, more into exploring than her brother is, and is a bit ADD sometimes. She's been the better climber from the beginning. When she and her brother wrestle, she's more strategic... he's a little bigger than her, so she has to be strategic. She pounces more when she plays.

The boy is more calm... he sure loves his food, and eats more than his sister does. He has a curious but cautious nature. He likes to play too, but he doesn't run around as much as his sister when he plays. He's also pretty vocal, he mews quite a bit. When he was younger and first getting adjusted to Max's room, he seemed to mew when he was scared at times, like if he couldn't find his sister. Now he's more adjusted with his environment and mostly just seems to mew to be talkative, not out of expressing fear.
