My grandmother died a week before Christmas, and they just had the wake and funeral. I am up in bumfuck, Connecticut, with my family. I have insomnia. We're going home tomorrow.

This has been an awesome weekend that I've mostly spent by myself. There were some really fun crack-of-dawn Monopoly games with Max, but mainly I have been pulling all-nighters myself and having a lot of fun with it.

For awhile, I didn't have any time for internet as I was in the process of moving. I knew that my account had expired, but it wasn't really convenient to re-new yet.

New times call for new music. I am mad about the September issue of Paste magazine's mix CD, it has got lots of rocking artists. It's my favorite monthly mix I've gotten so far, although the other two got me into some pretty cool artists as well.

I am so looking forward to sleeping for the next 3 nights. I have a lot of sleep to make up. I have gotten a lot done though! I finally have an apartment and a lot more is underway.
