So, orientation was last week, and the my first official day on the new job was today

I'm on an executive escalations team, so that means I get to handle complaints from the BBB and even the Attorney General's office, among other things. Wow I really need to brush up on my troubleshooting skills! Aaah tech industry meets service industry.....so I'm getting paid to make people happy (within limits of course, heh)

On a side note, I'm the only girl gamer in the class........wtf?! Are girl gamers just that rare of a breed? Guess I'll be hanging out with the WoW and Guild Wars boys

Hrm, what else is new? I'm reading two books at the moment, the first one I started reading is Death of a Darklord by Laurell K Hamilton. I'm still used to the Meridith Gentry and Anita Blake series, but this book isn't half bad. It's a change, which is refreshing......kind of like my life right now, changing.....and I'm still getting used to it. At least my professional life is showing some hope....at least more than my personal life is. I also had the chance to see an evil man (well, more boy than man) get his ass beat this past weekend; it was gratifying. Noooo, I'm not going to tell you the full story on that one.

I will put these thoughts on the back burner for now, and try to get some rest! Gosh, it's been a long day.
