Which characters populate your nights out?
I always get a "crying in the corner girl" and a feral-looking ex-junkie/current junkie couple practically having sex in front of everyone in the venue.
Several weeks ago I gave away my pet goldfish. I have made a decision not to have pets anymore. Not even useful ones like chickens because I can't eat all that they produce and I don't have the time to sell the eggs.
Pets use resources that should be conserved.
I don't understand how anyone who claims to be vegan can keep a carnivorous animal. Effectively, they are non-vegan by proxy.
And as for vegans who use animal tested cosmetics etc (dunno...maybe they think that because it's not so obvious as shovelling meat down your throat that no one will notice) I have just had enough of being preached to by people who happily sell out their shaky principles for the sake of vanity

And my new jacket is now full of pulled threads and looks like shit! My rego is due and I haven't got cent!
I got a new book; "Bunny Yeager's Pin Up Girls of the 50s".
Yay Angus & Robertson! Thankyou for obtaining a book that you told me 4 months ago couldn't be found! And for having no layby!
But (on a happier note) it is good...and funny! Giant underpants, girls swimming in the sea wearing..nighties (? didn't get that at all!) and bikini's made out of terry towelling (think giant nappy on an attractive woman )
Good food:
3 sliced carrots, 3 cubed potatoes, jar of good napoletana sauce, red wine, herbs & spices to taste (rosemary and paprika), salt & pepper to taste, can of chickpeas, can of kidney beans, cupful of peas, cupful of sliced green beans, flour to thicken...stew it!!
Put parmesan on top if you feel like it.
I had a can of organic breakfast spaghetti today...why, why does organic so often have to mean "devoid of salt, sugar and all other delicious but bad for you things and completely tasteless"?
A while back I bought a Bettie Page mens XL shirt...which I turned into a ladies shirt, but I stuffed up one of the shoulders and it looked like crap...so I turned it into a skirt...which made my legs look fat...so I turned it into a cushion cover...to go with my Mexican ladies cushion & my Elvgren cushion (great fabric covered in his pin ups, it was some sort of childrens hula girl costume that I found in an op shop and couldn't make anything to fit myself out of). I think I am developing a theme in cushion coverings.
My house still hasn't been assessed!!!
