EXCITIN' NEWS!!!
My best friend is pregnant with twins!! (she herself is a fraternal twin and apparently they have a high "risk" of having twins themselves cos they're egg happy!)...incidentally her sister who is also a good friend is about 3 weeks away from having a baby also!!
Goldfish news:
I have seen the god of goldfish...I went to my favourite aquarium shop yesterday and made some enquiries about celestials...only to be taken into the inner sanctum (quarantine tank area) and shown...wait...wait...black pompom celestials!!! I have never seen a black celestial let alone a celestial with pompoms!!!
It was a moment of pure goldfish magic! Which I can't possibly afford *sigh*
Work is very, very bad at the moment.
My rate of pay has increased and I am yet to see how this will impact on my work hours...also there has been massive circulation problems at one library. And I think it may have something to do with my lil' narcoleptic girl...I really don't know if I should talk about this to anyone at work...but the problems are bad and we are all dealing with alot of abusive customers...I am very confused in my mind
I have not done anything yet, but I have investigated as much as possible. I think I am in a very compromising position...
AND THE SHOES ARE AVOIDING ME!!!!!! I found a pair of gold (GOLD!!!) ballet flats in an op-shop...they were a bit tatty so I thought "I'll go home and have a think" and of course they weren't there when I came back! (really, should I be surprised?)
THEN...I found a pair of silver (SILVER!!!) ballet flats in another op-shop...and they were too fucking small!!!
AND THEN!! I found a pair of ruby red (RUBY RED!!!) suede ballet flats in a sales bin...and they were my size...and they were the only pair...and they were marked down from $200 to $100!!! Ooooooh, how cheap! *vomit, vomit,vomit* NOW THAT'S JUST PLAYIN' WITH MY MIND!!!
If even the shoes are trying to hide in their little shoe warrens whenever I am near...surely this is a sign that the gods are not smiling upon me?
Oh, and get this...lately I have been feeling bloated and the thought of green vegies makes me sick (and I
my greens!!) This feeling is only relieved by errr...*masturbating* 
How utterly pointless....nooo, I don't masturbate because I'm seeing hot bodies everywhere...I jerk off so that I can eat my broccoli and rocket in peace. I am a fucking nerd.

-At some point it was argued that child support is a substitute for reproductive responsibility. This assumes that the majority of children are conceived because people are irresponsible. I do believe that child support is a substitute for genuine equality (with some exceptions)...if people could access decent welfare, childcare and employment/educational opportunities etc. etc. and society actually supported parents (single and partnered), there would be no need for people to be required to pay child support should they be an "unwilling parent".
-The other problem with the argument (that the woman has no right to project her choices onto the man etc.) is that it appears to be sort of a transplant of the pro-choice argument...the problem is that in applying the same argument to address the reproductive rights of both sexes you ignore the fact that our differing biology will alter the implications of that argument for each sex.

I'm not sure if she's completely comfortable with how her children have accepted me, either - which apparently is rare for them.
I think I present such a raft of challenges to her that she's having problems dealing with it all, and is probably considering 'downgrading' our relationship as I type.
