I suffered through an episode of Home and Away recently 
I usually love bad TV (think Charmed) but I can't believe they pump this utter shit at teenagers...all the characters are seedy, ugly BOGANS who do nothing except gamble, screw around and get everyone else's partner pregnant, bash each other up and get married when they're in year 8...it should be called Bogan Away.
Why do people associate sex and travelling with the concept of freedom? I find sex such a difficult thing to negociate (meaning it's never simple and straightforward and there's so much crap to put up with e.g. "slut" garbage, compatibility garbage, possessiveness etc etc) I rarely find it "freeing".
And travelling. This costs heaps of money. I could become a slave to travelling.
I find graffiti and petty theft to be very "freeing" (is there such a word?
) for the obvious reasons.
This weekend I met a friendly ferret and a stumpy tailed lizard!!! I have never held a friendly ferret...although the jury's out still, it was more like she tolerated being patted as opposed to really enjoying being handled...but the stumpy absolutely loved being patted! Y'know how cats sit very still and slowly open and shut their eyes when they're enjoying a good pat? That's what the stumpy did...the owner said this could be because they have thin skulls and it stimulates their brain
