Umm, can someone send the Ark around to my house to collect me? Adelaide is being subjected to a serious thunderstorm/deluge of biblical proportions as I write this and half of my backyard is under water...(and I am dead serious here).
I have an entire weekend off!!! Will catch up with my good friend on Sunday and sleep all day Saturday.
I got another carer contract to take a blind person shopping (I think even I can handle that)
Went to a friends Birthday lunch yesterday and spent all day playing with her utterly beautiful, smiley 6 month old baby...I love her to bits!!
Hot op shop tip (sorry, can't restrain myself): Salvo's up near Kilkenny...I am always finding shoes there that look like those shoes that you see Harajuku kids wearing; ultra bizarre platforms. After work today I found a pair of leopard print sneakers there and clever me got close enough to smell them and nearly fucking died from the pongy fumes
Next time I'll write "there is a reason why you rarely buy second hand shoes" on my hand.

Not feeling stressed at the moment - I've since talked the whole situation over with a couple of girlfriends, and they have given me amazing insight on that whole lunch episode. Then I stroked a strange womans furry ladybug skirt at a fairy party, and I found this has the same effect that stroking a purring kitten has on the soul
The absolute best thing at the moment is tights - wore them all last night and felt ever so comfortable and 'prancy'
