I've had a nice couple of days...dinner at a Lebanese restaurant for a friends birthday followed by a quick look in some tawdry sex shops (I want an Indigo coloured Rabbit thingo soooooooooo badly) and then dessert at a Greek restaurant out of town.
I've also applied for some work as a carer, chose your own hours (apparently) so if I get anything it will mean keeping my most beloved library job and also being able to study.
Also reading two excellent books; The Count of Monte Cristo (really good, fast paced and lots of action!) and Orphans of History which is a history book about convict children in the first fleet...fascinating, although disturbing.
I finally faced the tail end of the sales and bought a heap of stuff that we need, plus some gorgeous new underwear for myself
Very contented, although now poor.
