i'm feeling so.....i don't know how to feel. i just lazed around on a blanket in laurelhurst park for 2 hours so i'm just coming back to reality. that place is so damned pretty.
this past week i have:
>been dealing with the effects of my new birth control
>went to my first last thursday on alberta and saw firedancers
>seen the blind boys of alabama play at the zoo
>been searching for somewhere to volunteer for fun and ispiration
>been considering a couple of college courses
what have all of you been doing? if anyone has suggestions for neat places to volunteer at, let me know! i'm thinking about the oregon humane society, but they might want me to take out my nose piercing and that wouldn't make it fun anymore.

for animals, although that could break your
heart.
So many things: poor kids learning to read;
sick people needing small favors to make life
less than continually cruel.
And it's not like we don't need to stop the
killing where we are involved doing that.
Aren't the Blind Boys utterly amazing. Boy
that gospel sound gets my train on the tracks.
