i didn't realize its been that long since i've updated. i suppose i also haven't noticed how busy i've become. talk about summer in portland, its like nowhere else. i went whitewater canoing on tuesday. class 4 baby! it was great, people would pull over on this road that follows the river and they'd just watch with their jaws to the ground. the deschutes is an awesome river. were planning on going rafting with a couple of friends next week. its gonna kick ass.

good news everyone......>drum roll please< we found a housemate! and just in time for rent! we might have also found somebody to sublet for a housemate that is in europe for 2 months as well. it was such a relief. the guy thats moving in is a really nice metalhead, original pdx punk. he's been friends with a current housemate for a long time, so he'll already be more comfortable in the house than anbody else might've been. and we're gonna get a kitten! i can't wait....

tonight i think i'm going to see a friends band play at house show in NW. i haven't seen them play since their first show so it will be good to see them now. i need to get out of the house tonight anyways, i wouldn't be sitting here if it weren't for this damned heat. i was going to take a walk to laurelhurst park, but i can barely move without becoming exhausted and overheated.
