I don't know why work was so horrible today. Every piece of fabric I thouched seem to be unhappy with me. I hate those kinds of days.

But, on the upside. I went to a BBQ unexpectedly tonight. A good friend stopped into work to let me know. I absolutely LOVE BBQ's. It was great. I love meeting new people in this new place i'm calling home. Makes me know that everything is gonna be okay. There were so many people from metro detroit too. I find it so interesting how Portland is this melting pot of amazing people coming into one town because they know that wherever it is they came from, would never let them grow the way they need too.

My allergy medicine wasn't working today. I feel like I've been looking through a sheet of cotton all day. I wish that I knew what the hell it is that I'm so allergic to out here and do something about it. BLAH.

I'm going canoeing on friday!! Is anyone else playing hooky on friday? 'Cause if your not, you should!
