i think i might've gained ten pounds in the last three days. my loves father came into town for a little visit and man, we went out to some fancy shmansy dinners. appetizers, salads, entrees, wine, liquor, desserts AND coffee. i didn't know it was possible to eat that much in one meal but i suppose it makes a difference if your there for 2 hours or more. it was some of the most fun and best conversation i've had with his dad. he seems to be so proud of us and how well everything is going here. while we were talking a walk yesterday morning after we cooked pancakes for breakfast, he asked me how long its been since we've moved. its been almost a year and a half, i tell him. he comments that time seems to be going by fast. i say, well yes it is, but i enjoy and value every moment of it.

i suppose thats were the difference lies from time moving fast back at home and time moving fast here. i wasnt accomplishing much back home, i wasn't able to say i was proud. here, things are still moving by quickly, but they are all things i am proud of. things i talk about with my friends back home, while i have the biggest smile beaming across my face.
