alright, i'm ready for summer. watching movies and playing board games is fucking great and all, but i'm ready to get OUT. damn this cabin fever, damn it all to hell.

my loves dad is coming into town next week. i'm excited. going out to fancy shmancy dinners and having good conversation. hopefully, while he's here, he can talk with me about starting up a retirement fund. i'm going to be getting some extra cash soon here from my pops that was in mutual funds so i've decided to be responsible with it and do the right thing. besides, i don't want to old and crippled AND have to work too. i'd like to be able to play bingo and scrabble with pals and drink white russians all day :-)

my friend is leaving the country on saturday. it was nice to see it was him when i my phone rang. he's having a little going away par-tay at some bar in NW. Gah, leave the eastside?? what the hell?

anywho, i'm seriously thinking about getting some more ink done on my arm to finish my forearm sleeve, i've been sitting with the idea of a blue heron for a really long time. what do you guys think? it would continue the sybolism of the rest of the tattoo. the words "every morning i wake, i am born again" go well with it. because the reason a blue heron sits well with me is that it was the big bird that stood tall on the docks back up north in michigan. its a symbol of my childhood i never want to forget. i just have to have some wonderful tattoo artist design it......
bradleyd:
How about keeping it simple,"every time I wake" kinda says it. The background could be done simply to blend in with the sleeve, or you could weave an almost subliminal tale into it, childhood, keeping in mind the whole background/ blending in thing. I love the blue heron idea, I hope it makes you smile every time you look at it. biggrin

p.s. I just looked at your right sleeve, did you ever think about starting the blue heron on your other forearm. You could find better placement for it and start a whole nother theme up that arm, maybe even drawing both sleeves to incorporate the leaves across the chest

One thing you might wanna consider is life insurance.

I think the tattoo idea is a good one. Simply because it means something to you. It's not something anyone else would have.
