Stop this train...I soooooo want off!
Things have been uber crazy busy lately and my only saving grace was the past weekend. It was a kick ass fall day in Ottawa...frost in the mornings, nice and crisp air, the sun is even looking "fallish" with the shadows it casts all throughout our awesome country farmhouse. Kint - if you read this...there are sooooooooo many opportunities for shoots with this kind of light!
Friday went out with Lee in the Market. It's been ages since I've been down there so it was nice to have some good drinks, even better conversation and a really hot date
I spent Saturday morning coaching field lacrosse, went to the gym, got groceries and came home and did country chores. Lugging wood, chopping kindling, cleaning up the yard in prep for closing down the outside stuff, dragged orphaned corn stalks from the fields and decorated the house, watched the chickens as they scurried around finding all the good stuff and trying to capture the 5 baby chicks that got out by mistake. And then a nice long, relaxing bath. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
And then yesterday I had nice long cuddles with my puppy bears and kitties. It's very comforting waking up being surrounded by warm purring animals and having absolutely nothing to get up for. Lounged around, did some more chores and then went to the local pub to watch a bit of football before coming home and cozying up by our wood stove.
This is probably my most favourite time of the year. Now if I could just get my dog to stop running away because he's exploring all the scents! He's not going to enjoy his trip to the vet next week....

I hope to one day live in the country. It seems so nice.
