So there's this guy. We've been hanging out alot, we hit it off really well. We've spent like 5+ nights in a row together. We can hang and just chill out, play video games, watch movies, etc. We have the same friends, we all get along great. The chemistry is amazing. He says I'm the only one he wants to even fool around with...
SO why the fuck aren't we dating?!
We've pretty much got everything else down. Apparently he doesn't want the responsibilities of a relationship; he likes relationships, but he's the kind of guy that's so independent that he doesn't like any idea of anything controlling or holding him down. And I get that, I'm that way too. I need my space and freedom. It would work.
I really care about this guy, and want to be with him. I guess I'm just wondering if I should back off until he's ready? He knows how things could be if we dated; so I just have to wait?
I know if I ask him out he'd say no, just for a few goals he has in his life, and his independence, it wouldn't work for him. SOO WHAT DO I DO

well, he knows I like and care about him but he's still showing interest a bit I guess. We've talked a little about it, but not really since he figured out I want to date him. So I'm waiting to see how the next few days go, because he's having his birthday party at my house this Saturday

Sounds as if he may just be getting his cake and eating it, without having to pay the bill. Just be sure he isn't just using you. Could be as simple as he is afraid to commit due to a past issue or he may be just to into himself to think of what you may want. In the end, just take your time.
