Do you KNOW how freakin' hard it is to find a dress to wear to a wedding? Really hard. Really super-duper hard. Admittedly, I did sort of make it hard on myself by being old-fashioned and banning red, black and white from my choices. Apparently, those colors are THE colors of the season, to my misfortune. Today was the 3rd night in a row I went dress hunting, and I finally did come home with a dark brown Michael Kors (oooh...so upper-middle class!) printy plunging neckline number. And the clerk only had to phone authorize another $100.00 to my max on the credit card to purchase it! Yeah!
I'm relieved that's taken care of. Contrary to womanly myth, marathon shopping is not fun when you have a deadline that's 3 days away.

Ha. MTV movie awards is on right now. Back in the day, my old roomates and I would actually plan in advance to stay home together and watch it. Tonight it's on my tv by default, which doesn't bother me none, 'cause it's been pretty effin' funny so far. Plus Chewbacca's playing the drums and Gnarls Barkley has Chewbacca-style teeth. Crazy wookie.

Jeez. These movie awards are distracting me from the important task of updating my blog. I need to finish this up so I may ride my bike up to the DQ.
