I am not in the best of moods. Today I got yelled at by a nun. That hasnt happened to me since high school. I really wanted to mouth off to her, and if this were high school I would have. But I kept my mouth shut because shes a professor and I am a lowly secretary. The part that pisses me off the most is I let her get to me. I could feel my cheeks getting hot and that always gives me away. I dont know why, but soon after that I had to leave the office before anyone could see me cry. Isnt that ridiculous? A nun made me cry! But then I went outside and had a cigarette with Niki and she listened to me bitch about it for a while. Shes kinda in the same boat I am we are both doing administrative work that is a bit over our heads because our bosses quit. I think we are both doing a fucking good job, but there always has to be someone who thinks their projects are more important than anyone elses. Christ. Okay, enough about that.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my random question. Now I know how to make yall come out of the woodwork. I would like to thank Mya for pointing out my sexist questioning. In the future, no assumptions about where men and women keep their belongings shall be made.

I have a really exciting project in the works for this fall. I dont want to say too much right now - I'll have more details as it unfolds. But basically I am organizing a zine and DIY craft fair at DePaul. A visual arts professor in my department is going to fund it through his non-profit organization, Stockyard Institute. Im going to be running the show, basically, but hes going to get the posters printed and help out with promotion and things like that. Ive never put together a full-scale multimedia event and I cant wait to get started on it!
