I've been so happy these past few days. Starguitar and I have been looking for apartments for him this week. We found a really good one that's about a 10 minute walk from my place, so we're waiting to hear back on that.
His first night back was such a awesome time. We went to Neo and then Exit, and while in the bathroom at Exit, my new friend Sarah told me she thought my friend in the suit was really cute and she was thinking about going for him. I started laughing so hard and told her he was my boyfriend. She started apologizing and I was like "no, no, that's okay" and I explained to her that we had an open relationship and if she wanted to put the moves on him she's more than welcome to. She was all, "That's awesome! "You guys rock!" So we went back out and Sarah sat on Dan's lap and flirted with him while I made out with a rediculously cute girl named Lizzie. I love my relationship.
Tonight we're going to Innjoy with drunkenpaw and some other friends. The DJ there, Madrid, is so fucking awesome. Anyone who spins La Bouce, Motley Crue and Eric Prydz's remix of "Call On Me" in the same set is automatically my hero. Also, we're on the lookout for a place for Dan to DJ in Chicago and Innjoy seems like it may be a good one. We shall see.
Other that that, things are busy. I started my big girl job today so I'm getting used to that.
My quarter is over in mid-June so I'm trying to get all my work in and wrap it up.
Right now, I have my table reserved at the AMC but everyone who said they'd go with me can't make it! I don't mind going alone, but it would be much more fun if there were people going with me. I may put a post out on some local zine groups to see if anyone wants to share a ride.
