Y'all sure know how to make a girl feel good.
So last night I went to Exit.
I walked in and started looking for friends I said Id meet on the lower level, but they werent there so I headed upstairs. This girl was walking down the stairs at the same time I was walking up. Somehow, she tripped on the stairs and her drink went flying right in my face. For a second I all I could do was kinda stagger back because I was in total shock. She pretty much doused my entire face and part of my hair. She and her two friends were like oh my god, are you ok? and I said no, Im really not its burning my eyes so she offered to get me a drink and some napkins. So Im there on the stairs with her two friends standing awkwardly beside me and Im trying to let what just happened to me sink in. Im holding my glasses, trying to wipe some of the booze off my face, and thats when drunkenpaw walks up.
I cant see anything without my glasses so Im kinda squinting at him and when I realized who it was I couldnt stop laughing at how fucking ridiculous the whole situation was and how PERFECT it was to meet him for the first time right then. I introduce myself (still laughing) to the other guys and they all assured me that for just getting a drink thrown in my face, I still looked pretty good. When the girl came back with my drink I thanked her and told her it was cool and to just be careful. After that, all was happy. 
Just for the record, drunkenpaw is fucking awesome and you should go say hi to him right now. Kate Brown met a girl named Ryan and they were adorably cuddly all night.
So all in all it was a fantastic night. I have my reading at MoJoe's Cafe tomorrow night. I hope some of you can come. Wish me luck!

thanks for reminding me! i have to work on my stories so i can read them! i talked to a friend of mine who does an anarcho-punk zine and i'm gonna read and he's gonna play folk-punk music on his guitar. that's the plan, but no dates are set up yet.
