I just got discharged from the hospital on Thursday. I'm not sure what day I went in. I do know that it was on a Saturday, maybe 3 weeks ago.

I called 911 and asked to be taken to the emergency room because I was feeling very weak and I knew something was wrong. It ended up being Sepsis. The bacteria from my previous UTI had transferred to my bloodstream is what they told me.

The first night in the hospital my temp spiked at 106 degrees. I don't remember much of what happened. The were a lot of hallucinations I was told. Everything from the first few days is still a haze. Every time they came to talk to me they asked if I knew where I was and what year it was. It did take several days for my mind to clear up and more before they felt I could be discharged.

I'm home now and still feeling weak as hell. I do know that Jupiter, my kitty, missed me ,lol, while I was in the hospital. His voice was hoarse from the crying while I was gone and he curls up by me at night in bed. A neighbor came over to feed him and scoop his litter box. Though she never saw him she knew he was OK because the food was being eaten and the litter box was being used. lol He's shy around strangers.

I'm glad I had the presence of mind to know something was wrong and call for an ambulance. With my MS I know my body pretty well now and know when something is wrong.

I'll be getting some home care now for PT and other things. I'm just glad to be home.
