And getting dark.
I walk into the sudden mist
Of darkened forests,
Still asleep.
The cries of tavens,
Fill the skies
While roar of beast
It shakes the heart
In empty space I quell within,
a beaten soul, weakened eyes
Amongst this dread
It appears to be
The silhouette of softer being
Of ruby wine of lips I see
Like a beacon sent
To hinder me
Yet alone
I walk this trail
That leads to somewhere
I'll never tell
At time the luster never fills
Of many paths
I've tried and failed.
