Well, upon the advice of four lovely ladies love I sent an asertive email to him and got back an inquirey of how it would be best to connect to get it back. Thank god that wasn't too painful. Though the tone of his and my words confirm that we've gone separate directions. Nothing wrong with that. It is nice mind you that nothing was overly...

I'm happy that business is going well.

Good luck in the battle. May I suggest that in the long run the best we can hope for is a cease fire or perhaps if we are lucky a truce.

I have no idea either. I got carried away with the metaphor. It sounded profound when I thought it.
whatever surreal biggrin

So you lend somebody something. In this case a friend and a tripod. This was about four years ago. You still have contact with said person, though you wouldn't describe them as a friend anymore since it's been six months since the last conversation.

More details. $300 Manfrotto tripod. One of the best money can buy. Offered to said person as a way of helping...

I just posted this in a thread on the "dating sucks" group and I thought it journal worthy as it expands on my thoughts from the last week.

I'm really confused about this thread, in that it isn't clear to me what the majority of the guy's posts here want with women. Are they jaded at the idea of the nice guy because they don't...

Yes, Fakir was present at my Kavadi- I actually used his own Kavadi frame. He wasnt directly involved in the dance, he was more like the wise man who benevolently oversaw the ceremony- there was one other woman dancing as well. I was only 23 when all of this happened and I'd love to have the opportunity to see and talk to him again now that I'm older . Dont know if I will.
And I agree with much of what youve mentioned in your journal.. its a lot better to be particular about your partners, and theres something to be said for waiting for the right thing.
faye:
I have applied before they sent me a big fat NO! *lol

But thank you for your comment it means the world to me when people leave me comments! kiss

Well, this journal entry involves much more attention than ever before, as I'm greatly affected by the influence of alchohol. Tonight Pica_Pica and mysef went to one of my customer's house's for a rippin' house party. When I say rippin', I mean I don't think I've ever attended one like that before.Perhaps I fill in the details later, since I'm a drunk mutah fucka. Yes,...

Yesterday while driving to work mother nature decided to put on a bit of a show. Coming over from the North Shore was an almost angelic experience. The city was quite blanketed in a thick layer of fog. The park had a hint of mystery to it. Once on Georgia, this unreal gleam of the rising sun was shooting down upon the commuters. Luckily I...

"that first photo is amazing!" I swear I was going to write that EXACT phrase.
Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. How horrible for both of you. Thank you for coming over and posting your support and empathy.

Aspirations of surrender.

This is not a particularly happy post. So all you happy extroverts, turn and run now before someone gets hurt.

I bailed off this muther fucker a couple of days ago in an attempt to run from something bad I did. Perhaps internally I made too much of it, but nevertheless at the time the action seemed to be appropriate to the...

It's tough to figure shit out. I'm still trying to figure out why I go out with assholes so don't waste your time trying to figure out why we do it, because even we don't know. Anyhow i hope you had a reasonably nice Christmas. I made it home in one piece without freezing to death. I have also decided to get rid of the car. I want it gone. Any suggestions as to where I could sell it "as is". I've decided that I'm going to join the Vancouver car co-op. I know a couple of peole who are members and they both said it's a good thing.
fenris23:
I'm really glad your disappearance wasn't permanent.

Of all the gatherings in the world I'd like to attend but can't, none tops my list quite so much as my funeral. Morbid you say? HA! Listen to what I have to say.

Okay okay, funerals do suck for the obvious reasons. But....

Think of it, with some planning, you can create a moment when everyone around you knows who you really are. For...

That's amazing! I'd never thought over a funeral that way... I have always told people I don't want them to be sad and somber but to have an Irish wake full of booze and good times.

If you want you can always have wake but that's not the same thing... kiss
pica_pica:
that book I was reading a few months ago suggested you do that very thing.
Picture your own funeral, and then imagine what your eulogies would be like from
1. a friend
2. a work mate
3. a family member or loved one
4. a member of the community.

all under the plan of making you understand more consciously the gravity of your daily actions.
"Start with the end in sight" meaning try to see the big picture before you take on any action.

Kinda a moral lesson I guess, but fuck.. it sure works.

journal entry coming.......

....but must do work first.

Tomorrow I'm starting a bathroom reno which has me a bit nervous. This is due to the cost of the tile which has been selected. The tile alone for this small room is over $1000. The floor will have infloor electrical heating. If the installation goes bad, it'll coast me about $3000. I don't see it happening, it's just that I don't normally work with...
