In about half an hour I'm off the yvr to pick up Cat from her weekend in LA (her hometown).

Her birthday was an awesome day, though it did get a bit effed up from an unexpected phone call. We wanted to have lunch at the top of Grouse, but instead we had to have panini's in Kit's. The rest of the day went pretty much as planned. Cool day.

She goes home for good in a couple of weeks, and so will my heart be strained and the long distance thing begin. I hope that this next stage of our lives is not difficult. I love this woman so much.

As far as what I got her for her bday...a bunch of books, a power inverter (ha, it actually was something she sorta wanted), a framed sunset pic she took, and this poem I did up on some textured cold rolled steal I made with those magnetic word kits.

She's gonna hate me for posting this, but hey, I'm the artist not her .

YES YES, the mistake was corrected before it was given to her.



At the moment I'm about as happy as I've ever been, yet I'm still about as nervous and apprehensive as I've ever been. Strange.
