So since we're on the topic of moving, epic, timeless, musical masterpieces, try this on for size. It's one of the first mp3's I ever heard...going back proabably 6 years. Yes yes there is a theme hear with my man Maynard, but do any of you know another vocalist who can stir your emotions the way he can? Not me.

This was recorded in New York in 97. Tori Amos was the doing the last of mulitple encores, when she brought out Maynard. The concert was a RAINN benefit. Rape Abuse Incest National Network.

I've been to some amazing live performances in my time, but unfortunately this wasn't one of them.
