Last night I went for dinner with my father. I'm slightly concerned about him; he's getting older, and conversation with him is becoming more difficult. All my life, I could easily just have a easy exchange with him, and now I can see that age may be catching up with him. Makes me sad, as I am closer to him than anyone else in my family.
Another weird thing happened today, there was a brutal accident close to my house on the trans canada hwy.. A big logging rig lost it's load going around a right hand bend. All the (huge) logs went over the divider into on coming traffic. The fucked thing is I was in those traffic lanes about 15mintues before it happened. Just goes to show you, even though it's cliche, that you have to live life. The lights can go out so fast.
