Stumbled across your journal, as well as Pica_pica's, musing on the nature of public journaling. I'd have to say that for me, this is about the last place anyone I would care about reading what I wrote would stumble across me. Does that make sense? However, I find that writing here elicits unbiased and thoughtful feedback, as well as providing that cathartic purge Pica_pica mentions. When you decide to express yourself in a sentence, it tends to crystalize your thinking, give you a solid impression of where you really do stand. One of you was talking about the infinite possibilities roiling around in your brain; I believe many of these are laid to rest once you have to choose words to describe a feeling or an idea.
Also, in being off-beat, this becomes a safe place for off-beat people to talk out loud, so to speak.
Anyhow, it was nice to read words regarding writing words, and the whys and the wherefors.

That metal smith, Nancy is one of my best friends. She does amazing work and I'm fortunate to own a few pieces! She is also the person responsible for organizing the show. It was very successful and will run for 2 days next year!

Hey man, Thanks for the words, and yeah, i guess I was feeling a little bit better about things, Certainly goes in cycles, but I just stand back here and watch it all.

The kilt thing? well, way back in September, I wanted to go to Sin City, and had nothing to wear, so I borrowed a Kilt from a friend as a start to something. I really want to get my own, I loved that thing. I followed the link to that unikilt site, and I do believe I will be wanting one!
I really want to get a traditional one made, because I think I have some scottish blood in these viens, but damn they're expensive, like $400.00.

I feel ya with your new girl problem. I'm disgustingly gun shy when it comes to hanging with girls i might actually grow to like. I'm over the pointless hookups, but i've been beat up to bad by that thing called love.

My current situation is actually a blessing. This new girl is a bit freaked out that she likes hanging with me so much, and so am i. Both of us are really jaded about that, but since i'm going to south america for the winter, we can both just let go of the game and totally dig each other while i'm here. It's nice having an out, but its ridiculous that i need one.

I find it lifesavingly cathartic to spurt this crap out sometimes. That really shocked me. At first I totally couldn't get my head around the idea of blog "why the hell would you wanna do that?" but seriously, it's pretty cheap therapy at 4 bux a month.

Thanks for the heads up on the pocket bike pic! I want one bad!!! My dream stable would have one of those, and a tricked out xr50. Maybe i just like my bikes like my women, short and silly, or fast and expensive.
