Hello SG friends, fans, weirdos all the same <3
It is coming to the point where I must be off to the desert! I'm about 90% ready - have one last batch of cookies to bake & package then we (@cigno ) will be off for Burningman to go build a temple! I can't believe it's here already. I've waited and anticipated then it seemed to have snuck up on me. I really am looking forward to this time to just disconnect and re-connect with myself. I've mentioned in previous blogs how I've been struggling lately with my mental health and to be frank, I haven't ever been this bad. I've come to the conclusion that I will be seeking professional help and finding something to medicate properly, other than solely relying on cannabis as my mental state has not improved/changed. I am looking forward to this time to re-evaluate what I'm doing with my life in general.. where I'm going vs where I want to be.
My 9th hopeful set, (wow) will be live for all your creeping pleasure sometime either Sunday the 26th or Monday the 27th. Why am I telling you all this? Well.. again I will be in the middle of the desert, disconnected both by choice and by the fact of no service. SO I won't be able to really post anything here or anywhere! So what's up with the name? I honestly couldn't decide what to name it. Then sent a few images to a group of girls, @dutch actually thought of this name. Just as the song, "stay with me" came on and it was just bam. There are quite a few lyrics in that song I can relate to and have been feeling, so it fits for me.
I am going earlier out to BM (burningman) and staying longer as well. Part of being a member of the temple crew, you get to build and help clean up! So we won't be back until September, about 2 weeks before my birthday! So do me all a solid and give me tons of love, comments, support... it would be so amazing to see this set be the one, or even just do really well because I love it. I hope you all do too <3 I know I'm not a "small" woman, nor am I the typical shape of a model. But I hope SG can see passed that and see me for who I am. I believe I encompass what SG stands for and have really put forth effort in being a member of this community that will continue to give back!
