so its 5 pm on a fairly busy street on a friday.
i hear this dude screaming bloody murder gibberish at the top of his lungs.
look out the window, and this nice dog is running across the street, and dude is running behind it yelling (i think) "SKIPPY! NOOO! SKIPPY"
i live next to a vet clinic.
so the dog makes it across, then the dude is waiting for a spot in traffic to cross, when the dog zigs back into traffic. again dude screams like hell.
so i stopped looking and cranked up my stereo, to drown out the horrible screaming, and any potential tire screeching, dog yelping, and bumper-hitting-dog noise.
everything's quiet now so i assume they made it out alive. i don't know for sure because i zoned it out. but that's what i'll assume.

poor pooch..but at least if he got hit, they didn't have to GO to the vet. they were already there..
