this morning i heard a loud surging sound coming from outside, and then the power went out. i was mid-email, mid-listening to bush fumble through an interview, and it all just blanked out in an instant.
looking outside, i see the stop lights and lights of local businesses are off as well.
so i did what i felt i had to do.
i went back to bed.
