Damn....I need to get some new pics. I need to get my frightfully grown-out hair fixed. miss_lady - don't be scared when you see me Wed! I am going to do the black, but the streaks are going to be platinum-blonde and maybe purple thrown in here and there. I am bored with the way it is now. And I am sick of finding all the little white hairs that I never saw because I dyed it regularly. 
Anyways...wow. Yesterday, my guy and I decided to start recording vocals for his (our?) cover of "Hey You" by Pink Floyd. He had most of his done so we just focused on mine. I did a whole lot of nifty vocalizing stuff...scratchy whispers, angry loud yell-singing...it was fun. Then we have the parts where I do this 3-octave spread of this one line (I did one run in the middle, one the octave above and one the octave below) with a harmony...that sounds fucking sweet. I know, for all non-music-geek types, you are going, whatever. But I am proud of my 4 octave range, dammit. I am surprised I still have it considering the years of Newports. Haha. Thank goodness I quit.
My guy is SOOOO sexy when he works...he gets this great, happy, alive look in his eyes. He gets that only when he is working on music, or when we connect on a really deep, uninterrupted level. I think it rocks. I was thrilled that our first stint of working together in 4 years went so smoothly. Within a few hours, we had 10 lines of vox laid down with no arguing, no nothing. It was awesome. I think we were both blown away. Dunno if this is a sign of times to come or not, we shall see.
Damn I am in the mood to throw a party. Mon night is not a good day for that. Anyone want to come over tonight and get toasty? I get bored so easy on my own here...heh...wow. I am seriously needy, eh? I guess I am just used to being the center of attention or some bullshit. Haha.
