I am going to ask everyone a question and then I will tell you why:

What songs do you consider to have really strong, catchy choruses?

These can be old, new, pop, rock, whatever. Just need some ideas.

I am currently getting shit from my manager (from afar, no less) for not writing songs with strong choruses. I agree that I have a tendency to write in "movements" rather than with a thought toward commercial airplay...it is a product of my classical training. But he is trying to get me financial backing, which necessitates me thinking more that way. So I want to hear from everyone what they would consider to be the catchiest choruses so that I can maybe get an idea of what I am doing wrong. I have one song that has a great chorus, and another two that have pretty decent choruses...but the rest are very non-catchy I guess. Wow, he is the first person in my career as a musician that has come down on me this hard...but I guess it is for the best...

You cant go wrong with the Beatles. One of my favorites is Eleanor Rigby. The chorus starts the song, which is brilliant in itself. The song is one of the best ever written, though.
