Well, obviously I am not in jail. One point for me! Yay!
My guy left yesterday for FL. He should be here in a week or so, he has to drop someone off in another state first. I put a really really hott sexy pic of him (in the Ukraine) in the Me and My Guy folder in my PICS section. DAMN I am the luckiest.
He is sooooo yummy...AND he treats me like the goddess incarnate. What a good deal!!!
My manager/producer guy has been acting all sweet and attentive and downright caring (he actually went out of his way yesterday to buy me something that he knew I would like - VERY unlike him!) I can't figure that one out. This is a guy who nonchalantly notes that he is selfish and inconsiderate as a general rule. He has been way cool to me the last week, and there has been much sex and affection, probably for the sake that he knows that after he leaves on that plane, there will be no more. I think he goes back up north tomorrow. He is going to miss having me around a lot more than he will ever admit to...and he has actually admitted it a couple of times...but he had his chance, eh? As a friend of mine says..."silly man."
I met another musician/producer/manager yesterday when I was out seeing my hippy waiter at this little breakfast place on Kirkman. He is really cool, went to Berklee (lucky fucker) and has his shit together. We talked for a while, he heard some of my tracks, and wants to do some work with me. That rocks. I intend to keep my manager guy, but it is always good to have lots of talented, driven people around you.
My track "Cold" (the pop-rock redo of it anyway) is going to be the lead track on an independent film soundtrack - debuting at the Toronto Film Festival this year. I am really psyched. It is being mastered by manager-guy's dad (the big producer). I can't wait to see what he thinks off my stuff. I have been invited to go up north anytime I want and stay at their place and record. How cool is that?
OK I am going to stop being boring now. Get back to all of your more interesting, less home-confinement lives...

God, does this town have an oversaturation of musician/producer/managers or what? Good thing there's teaching at Full Sail as a back-up (ie, the husband's job). He's been trying to record enough vocals with this girl for an album, which would benefit everyone greatly (I'm thinking "work hiatus"! Hey, I can dream).
That's AWESOME that your song will be featured in an indie film!!! This journal is anything but boring! I'm gonna home-confine myself, too and go open some wine....ahhh yeah....
