contradiction

NAMM is over, and I am FUCKING TIRED. My feet feel like somebody put them through one of those taffy pulling machines. I swear I pulled muscles in my calves.

I had a great time, though. I did not get to play my showcase, which was OK considering everyone else who played were metal/glam bands. Not sure I would have fit in...heh. So I wasn't upset. I have a tag from the show which has "Severance" printed as in the roster so I am keeping it for posterity...HAHA. Next year, I tell ya. I just need to have a constant band setup that can travel, I think.

I have good pictures, but I can't dump em to the computer until I get home - my guy has the cable. I will show them when I get there.

I actually pulled a Nord endorsement for Severance this weekend, and I think it is going to be a lucrative one as well. The guy actually remembered me from a few years prior, when he met me in passing through another friend. He said "wow, your hair was different". Haha. I told him that my hair is always different. We had a nice loooooooooong chat about how cool he thought it was to endorse a chick who does the kind of music I do, and how they only have 2 other chicks on their roster, who are both doing WAY different stuff than I, so it is a good business move for them.

I also chatted up a guy at Propellerheads, who loved the shit out of me, which is cool. I definitely want to stay in touch with him.

And some misc stuff, like TC Helion, Audiotechnica, Shure, and of course my guys at Halo Guitars/Karma mics who I get great deals from. They rock out.

Well, that is all I am doing for now. sleeeeeeeeeeeepy.
