So last night I played an extra in a local Brisbane feature film being made called "House of Cards". Sadly, while Facebook reported that over 100 people were going to be extra, about 40 people came. To those 40, I want to say thankyou for supporting our local Brisbane film industry. Some of you I networked with were directors, writers, producers, actors, students, or simply friends of friends, and too all of you I say thanks.
I really do believe that Brisbane can be a place where films are made, set, and sold. Keep up the good work and we can be a place that, while not quite Hollywood", pumping grand films and stories.
