I never expected to love someone so much without knowing them for a long time...But becoming a Mama makes me realize that this sort of love is true and unconditional. It's amazing that I can miss her so much it hurts, even when she is just a room away. The fact that I am prepared to die for this little girl, no matter how painful or brutal the death may be, proves to me that even the most selfish of people can change into the most selfless. It honestly scares the shit out of me when she spits up, or cries for no reason...Am I doing the right thing? Am I a good mother? This is such a confusing job, but it's the best one I have ever done...
