Hello All,

I met with the owner of ALT on Monday. He spent perhaps 45 minutes lecturing me on my inability to get along with his employees and all the problems I caused him by showing up at the appointed time. Then he spent some time telling me about what he wanted me to do at the "Marketing" job he was offering me. Get this, I am to spend eight hours a day "Cold Calling" customers, and asking them for prototype/qualification orders. This will be 100% inside, no business travel at all. So, I am suppose to call people up, and then not make an appointment to meet them, and that is how I am going to sell!?! Further, because the owner has littel faith in my ability to do the job, I will be on probation for six months. The pay is pretty good (45K), but really think that if I don't bring in a lot of work, then he will fire me, and If I do bring in work, then I will get the axe too. We are suppose to meet this week some time for me to fill out the W2, and no compete agreement, so i think I am going to try and get some of this stuff in writing. Wish me luck. Oh one other thing, I am forbidden to speak to anyone other than the owner when I am at work. No, good mornings or anything of the sort. He wants to control what his employees hear about my, position. Kind of left me wierded out a bit.

Hey, really at the moment, camera repairs are going pretty good. I may tell the guy to shove it.
