The day has been going pretty standard but I was just recently, literally 5 minutes ago, hit with some cool news. Matisyahu is gonna be coming to House of Blues in Orlando in March. I'm always down for a good show there and Matisyahu is like one of my new favorite artists. I've never been too much into reggae but this shit is great, plus it has a great positive message. So I'm pumped.
Beside from the news I wanted to share a thought, or rather a disccusion I had with some of my friends over the break, including my tattoo artist while I was getting my ink done. I had asked the question "Is it possible for any guy to get any girl that he wants?" Many of my friends believe that the possibility is there, but there are two factors to be considered as well. 1. The women that most men try to persue may be considered "out of their league", which I have found to be true. But what some men don't realize is that just because a woman is beautiful and attractive doesnt mean the possibility isnt there for something to happen. Cody Meyer, my tattoo artist, brought up a good point regarding this. He said that most guys see this beautiful woman and they instantly get intimidated by that fact and dont bother trying to persue her, when in actuallity it could have very well have happened, the pursuit I mean. These beautiful women are walking around waiting for men to approach them but are somehow driven away by the beauty they hold, like a force field or something. Which leads me to my 2nd point. 2. Men need to step out of their comfort zone and grow some balls. The possibility is there they just need to make some action.
This wasnt a huge topic discussed over the break but an interesting one none the less. Thats just my take on the situation.
