I just saw my dad for the first time inabout a year. It was weird, I talked to him twice briefly in January. We had a bit of a blow up last summer when I was staying in Virginia, and I just have not wanted anything to do with him. Now it's just like, whatever. I can't believe I've wasted as much thought and time as I have stressing about the guy I just had lunch with. Oh well, drama over, life moves onward.

Heard a really sad story. Apparently a couple weeks ago, a 7 year old boy on my stepbrother's cousin's baseball team drowned at a pool party. I think this is the main reason all my bullshit suddenly seems so stupid, petty, and trivial.
