Sometimes the simplest things can seem the hardest to do...like trying to find time to capture the words in my head. My biggest challenge is where to start. I have a couple of projects that I'm trying to work on. what's truly ironic is the story that needs the least amount of research is the one that is the largest. Over the last year, an idea formed in those quiet moments of my life. An idea for a whole world and as the world developed so did its history and it features ,its gods,its customs and slowly its people. Sometimes I wonder if i'm creating it or if its already out there somewhere distant and I'm just a glorified chronicler. The problem is that the idea is just too big. Where do I start? From the beginning from a point in the middle,the present or the future?

My other projects require more research they're submissions to a magazine. I also have a couple of ideas for stories for the magazine too, but I want to get my foot in the door before, I try my idea for a couple of characters I created. To me getting an idea for a city rejected doesn't hurt as much as getting an idea for a character rejected. That truly hurts because its more then just killing an idea its like killing someone who for a short-time lived and breathed..if only in your mind. Its saying that persons like was meaningless.
